Who We Are
Intermac is the Biesse division that manufactures and markets machines and systems for glass second machining dedicated to furniture, construction and automotive sectors.

Founded in Pesaro by Giancarlo Selci in 1987, it quickly came to occupy a world leadership position, distinguishing itself for the reliability of its machines and the high quality of finish that they are able to guarantee. Intermac carries out its production activity mainly at the Pesaro plant, where it has approximately 30,000 square meters of production area in which over 300 employees are employed, and in Dongguan (China).

Intermac and movetro glass machining technologies incorporate the key concepts of industry 4.0, propelling our customers into the era of digital manufacturing.

Thanks to the acquisition of the Movetro company in 2017, Intermac expands in the sector dedicated to systems and lines for machining flat glass.

The Glass division of the Group is therefore characterized by a high-value consulting approach, and complete the current range, with classifiers, shuttle magazines, automatic loaders, loaders and tilters.

The software developed by our team of experienced in-house engineers integrates fully with our machines, enabling designs to be created in just a few clicks, with no limitations. Machining simulation technology provides a preview of the piece to be worked, for total control over the production process before the piece even reaches the machine.

A quality control system for our industrial processes ensures product compliance.

Each machine undergoes on average 160 checks during the assembly stage in order to simulate the most challenging working conditions, and is also subject to a rigorous final proof test.

Each base has a tolerance of 2 hundredths of millimetre per linear meter. In this way, apart from guaranteeing the quality of carpentry, it is possible to eliminate the need for any remedial work during the assembly phase, which would inevitably delay the machine's delivery.
