Intermac at Lamiera, where innovation takes shape. Intermac's solutions for the metal transformation industry are on show at Lamiera, 15-18 May.
Guided by the THINK FORWARD philosophy, Intermac's ability to innovate and provide complete, integrated, user-friendly solutions allows its customers to produce more, in a better way, and at a lower cost. Intermac and Viet are taking part in Lamiera - the international trade fair dedicated to tool machines for deforming sheet steel and the relative innovative technologies - at Fieramilano Rho from 15th to 18th May 2019.
This fair is one of its kind in Italy, attracting visitors from all the main industrial sectors that are sure to find an answer to all their needs. To paraphrase the fair's slogan, this is the place where ideas take shape: Intermac and Viet are displaying a series of hi-tech solutions that can be personalised to suit the versatility of the materials, satisfying a huge and highly varied range of application requirements.
The aim of Intermac and Viet is to convert customers' factories into “real time factories”, thanks to integrated machinery that optimises production, cuts costs and improves the daily work, launching users into the digital manufacturing age.
Intermac's solutions for the metal transformation industry can be applied in a variety of sectors: tool machine manufacture, aeronautical, naval and navigation, automotive, furnishings, large construction surfaces, refrigeration, the food industry and commissioned work.
The technology stealing the show at the stand is Primus 402 - the range of water jet cutting systems designed to meet the needs of companies looking for optimum versatility. This range allows a vast selection of materials to be processed, from stainless steel to aluminium, from titanium to carbon fibre, and not forgetting stone, glass, plastic materials and ceramic. Waterjet is a machining process that can cut almost any ferrous or non-ferrous material thanks to a high-speed water jet with the addition of abrasive powder (with pressure values up to 400 MPa), optimising machining costs and productivity.
The stand will also be displaying the VIET SV3 and SV211 technologies: one for carrying out deburring, rounding and satinising operations on any type of metal, and the other aimed at those wanting to perform automatic satinising operations for high quality results with a limited investment.
Highly qualified technical and commercial personnel will be on hand at the Intermac stand to explain all the details of the range dedicated specifically to this sector, and to lay out the most suitable solution for market requirements.
