Intermac at Vitrum 2017, glass meets with top performance levels in the digital era

A rundown of the best solutions and technologies for glass machining in the digital age, unveiled at Vitrum - the international trade fair focusing on the machines, equipment and systems for flat and hollow glass.

The range of products on show for the public at the Milan event is now more complete and offers even better results, thanks to the recent takeover of Movetro - a leader in the creation of smart storage systems. Movetro's shuttle system on display, demonstrating how to optimize the space in medium and large warehouses, moving both single sheets and books of sheets even while the machine is running. The little shuttle system is combined with classifiers and integrates seamlessly with the Intermac Comby J- A46 cutting line: it perfectly sums up the "Smart for all" concept - an automatic, integrated solution for managing the sheet warehouse and automatically loading the cutting line.

Our customers can now count on new applications for double-edge grinding processes, thanks to the brand new patented “Radius Evolution” that creates the radius or chamfer while the glass is being machined, without any need for additional machines. Alongside machine tools, the company also has software solutions developed to simplify the management of data and complex information, enabling the smarter use of tools.

More value for our customers when purchasing Intermac technology: at Vitrum in fact, they can learn about the new multilingual platform for requesting prices, ordering Intermac spare parts and getting to know their machine.
